Kindergarten - Five Senses of Fall

Miss Otto's kindergarten class has been studying the Five Senses in science. As a culminating project the students
made a class book about the 5 Senses of Fall that integrates science, literacy and technology. First, each student was assigned a sense and came up with a descriptive sentence that the teacher typed up. Next, the students continued their practice of word boundaries by lassoing and cutting up each word. Then, the students had to mix up their words, read and place them into the proper order again and glue them on the bottom of their illustrations. Finally, the students learned how to publish their work by recording their voice for the iMovie. Now Miss Otto’s kindergarteners have two ways to enjoy their hard work; by reading the bound class book, or by watching our iMovie!
